The Overlocker / Serger Basics Workshop is perfect for someone who has never used a an Overlocker Machine before or would like to have a refresher. This workshop aims to give you the confidence to use an overlocker.

Workshop duration: This is a 2.5- 3 hour workshop. Because this is a foundational workshop, we have provided a bigger time window than usual to allow for troubleshooting and pacing for your individual need.
Everyone learns differently and we are here to support you!

Supplies: All sewing supplies are included. An overlocker / Serger , sewing tools, fabrics and other supplies are provided for this workshop. You are welcome to use your own overlocker, sewing tools or other supplies if you wish too.

What will I learn?: You will learn how to set up, thread, stitch, adjust the settings, balance thread tension, and take care of your overlocker.

Location: Rockingham area , Western Australia. The Overlocker Basics Workshop will be provided in the comfort of your own home by a Burda Style teacher, if you live in the Rockingham area, Western Australia. We will need a working accessible power point. All other sewing equipment and supplies are provided.

Cost: The 2.5 - 3 hour private workshop costs $225. This includes a private sewing lessons in the comfort of your own home with a certified Burda Style teacher, all sewing supplies and the use of an overlocker if you don't have one.
